3 de may. de 2024 · Sometimes with Rundgren you never know what you may hear. He dug up rare plays of “Woman’s World”, “The Last Ride” and “Flesh & Blood” as appetizers. Served up as the main course were “Buffalo Grass”, “Kindness” and the utopian gem “Secret Society”.
3 de may. de 2024 · 3rd Todd show for me last night! Utopia 2018, Daryl/Todd 2022 and now last nights show in Charleston. A truly exceptional show, the setlist was as DEEP as could possibly be. It felt carefully constructed in the best possible way. A+ for ultra-obscure beyond-die hard song selection and overall thematic feel.

Released in 1978 as part of Rundgren’s live album “Back to the Bars,” the song captures the essence of heartbreak, introspection, and the complexities of love.
Arena was actually well-received, if you compare it to subsequent records. Todd’s biggest problem is that he doesn’t let any air into the studio. He’s content to do it all by himself (not counting recent collab records), and it suffers. Arena is a great example.
