Steven Douglas White [1] (born 31 May 1965) is an English drummer who has worked extensively with Paul Weller and The Style Council among others. Musical career. White was given a small drum as a child by his uncle and upon joining his local Boys' Brigade he began to learn his craft.
Since turning professional at the age of 17, Steve White has remained at the pinnacle of his profession for over 30 years, playing with legendary artists including Paul Weller, The Who, Jon Lord Ian Dury and La Roux, and currently plays drums in the highly acclaimed ‘Family Silver’.
