Peggy was a part of Ram Dass’s psychedelic adventures at Millbrook—the estate that her family rented to Ram Dass, Tim Leary and the gang for $1 a year. Up until the very end, Peggy visited Ram Dass twice a year on Maui, beaming light and love into Ram Dass’s life.
If you dont know who Ram Dass is, he was a psychologist at Harvard that studied psychedelics alongside Timothy Leary back in the 60's. Through his experimentation he became a spiritual person, and sought to explore that by going to India and learning from a guru. He has become a spiritual teacher who shares his wisdom to help others.

20 de abr. de 2024 · Ram Dass broke with Leary at some point. Leary doubled down on his drug use/explorations while for Ram, that path was pretty well played out. The two reconciled in the end and this documentary Dying to Know is one of the last meetings between the two friends as Timothy was dying of prostate cancer.
