Phil Xenidis, better known as Phil X (born 10 March 1966) is a Los Angeles based Canadian guitarist, prolific session guitarist and officially a member of Bon Jovi right now. At 16 Phil formed a band called Sidinex (from Phil’s last name spelled backwards) with bassist Kevin Gingrich, drummer Scott Masterson and singer Todd Farhood.

Before i recorded guitars for Scott Humphrey on a regular basis, i was painting his garage. So one day, Tommy Lee says, “We need a sick guitar player on this.”. Scott replies, “Let’s get Phil.” Tommy hesitates ’cause i’m the guy painting the garage but agrees to give me a shot. I took the shot and that was it.
