Perry Farrell (born Peretz Bernstein; March 29, 1959) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician referred to as the "Godfather of Alternative Music". Farrell began his career with Psi Com in the early 1980s, before becoming the frontman of the band Jane's Addiction.

Perry Farrell was born on 29 March 1959 in Queens, New York, USA. He is an actor and composer, known for Twilight (2008), Southland Tales (2006) and The Cable Guy (1996). He has been married to Etty Lau since 8 March 2002. They have two children.
