8 de abr. de 2024 · Hatfields and McCoys, two American Appalachian mountaineer families who, with their kinfolk and neighbours, engaged in a legendary feud that attracted nationwide attention in the 1880s and ’90s and prompted judicial and police actions, one of which drew an appeal up to the U.S. Supreme Court (1888).
Hace 3 días · Hatfield and The North formed in mid-1972, released two full-length studio albums and disbanded in 1975. So it was a relatively short-lived act, but at the time it was a sort of Canterbury scene supergroup featuring members and ex-members of acts like Delivery, Matching Mole, Gong, and Caravan, which meant that Hatfield and The North got some attention.

My latest rabbit hole are Canterbury scene bands, specifically National Health and Hatfield and the North. As much as I've loved their music, haven't listened to them much in the past decade. I've always leaned more toward Soft Machine, Matching Mole, and Robert Wyatt. Now rediscovering NH and HATN brilliant musicianship, truly wonderful.
