  4. HAPSHASH AND THE COLOURED COAT was one of the quintessential players in the 1960s psychedelic scene in London as an innovator of graphic design and was most famous for its psychedelic posters that were instrumental in popularizing the commercial sale of posters as legitimate art expressions.

  5. Hapshash and the Coloured Coat explored new design elements of complicated psychedelic colours and convoluted middle eastern pattern. The subject matter was influenced by Pop, Sex and Drugs, although Hapshash were mainly concerned with Op-Art and three dimensional effects.
