He was replaced by David 'Tiger' Taylor (ex Teddie & The Tigers) in November 1968. Appearing at the Marquee in Belfast in May 1969 Back in London in early 1969, the band recorded a new song "Rock'N'Roll Band" for the A-side of their second single.

Rufus Tiger Taylor (born 8 March 1991) is an English musician, best known as the drummer for the rock band The Darkness since May 2015, and as a touring drummer for the Queen + Adam Lambert stage shows.

He co-wrote Eire Apparent’s third a-side, “Rock ‘N’ Roll Band,” released in January 1969 on Buddah (b/w “ Yes I Need Someone”). The Taylor lineup toured Europe that April with Hendrix.
