Colin Leo Hanton (born 12 December 1938) is an English musician, best known as the drummer for the 1950s skiffle band the Quarrymen, led by a young John Lennon. He currently plays for the reformed version of the Quarrymen.

He owned a drum set and a record of their songs, and he witnessed their history-making audition in Liverpool. He left the group in 1959 after a row with John, Paul and George, but he later reformed with them for a few gigs.
