Bastille, (estilizado como BΔSTILLE), es una banda de pop-rock del sur de Londres, Inglaterra, formada en 2010. Bastille comenzó como un proyecto en solitario del cantante y compositor Dan Smith, quien más tarde decidió formar una banda.
Bastille are a British indie pop band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith , but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood.

The Bastille (/ b æ ˈ s t iː l /, French: ⓘ) was a fortress in Paris, known as the Bastille Saint-Antoine. It played an important role in the internal conflicts of France and for most of its history was used as a state prison by the kings of France.
