Hace 4 días · Chris Bell was lead guitarist and co-songwriter for Big Star, the band he started with fellow songwriter, Alex Chilton. In fact, Bell, bassist Andy Hummel, and drummer Jody Stephens were the band, Icewater, but when Chilton played them his own songs, the trio became a quartet and promptly renamed themselves Big Star.
