20 de may. de 2015 · Dave Edmunds is to release an all-instrumental album of cover versions. The Welsh guitar icon issues Rags & Classics on June 9 via MVD Entertainment Group. He’s also made his version of the Beach Boys’ God Only Knows available to stream.
13 de may. de 2016 · Frontman Dave ‘Lonesome Dave’ Peverett and two other Savoy Brown alumni teamed up with guitarist Rod Price, gave themselves a nonsense name and saw a 1972 debut, produced by Dave Edmunds, open the door to FM airplay. Its raucous cover of Willie Dixon’s I Just Want To Make Love To You trashed the melody but dialled up the thrusting.

David William Edmunds (born 15 April 1944) is a Welsh singer-songwriter, guitarist and record producer. Although he is mainly associated with pub rock and new wave , having many hits in the 1970s and early 1980s, his natural leaning has always been towards 1950s-style rock and roll and rockabilly .
