Peter Bardens (19 June 1945 – 22 January 2002) was an English keyboardist and a founding member of the progressive rock group Camel. He played keyboards, sang, and wrote songs with Andrew Latimer. During his career, Bardens worked alongside Rod Stewart, Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood and Van Morrison. He recorded eleven solo albums.

2 de feb. de 2010 · Peter Bardens is without hesitation one of the most influencial and respected musician from prog rock zone, specially remembered as the key(board) player in famous Camel from 1973 untill Breathless 1978 included. His first solo album outside Camel was out on the streets in 1979 named Heart to Heart.
I hope that another label will release a 'keyboard wizard' DVD with more rare or unreleased footage, including keyboard wizards like Rick van der Linden, Don Airey or Peter Bardens. It wasn’t the best choice to let Bardens, the keyboard wizard of the group, sing the song himself as his guitar-playing colleague Andy Latimer has a much more pleasant voice. After that it’s basically all ‘Hosanna Hosanna’ for fans of melodic symphonic rock.
