Joseph Edward Moretti (10 May 1938 – 9 February 2012) was a Scottish guitarist renowned for his work on seminal UK rock and roll records such as Vince Taylor's "Brand New Cadillac" and Johnny Kidd & the Pirates' "Shakin' All Over". He later lived in South Africa until his death from lung cancer.
Joe Moretti was a Scottish-Italian-Irish musician who played on many popular songs in the 1960s, such as \"Shakin' All Over\" by Johnny Kidd and the Pirates. He also worked with Gene Vincent, Vince Taylor, Tom Jones, Donovan and others, and moved to South Africa in the 1970s.
