I disagree. Steve Howe was one of Yes’ biggest contributors. Billy Sherwood was also heavily involved with Yes in the 90s, and lastly, Geoff Downes played for Yes in the late 70s and has been playing with the band continuously since 2010/2011 (not completely sure to be honest). So we got 3 people who are huge part of Yes’ history.
Hace 3 días · In late 1988, Wakeman got together with former Yes bandmates Jon Anderson, Bill Bruford, and Steve Howe to form a new group, Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe. The band originated when Anderson had become increasingly frustrated with Yes's commercial direction, and left the band to make music that reflected the band's 1970s sound.

Hace 2 días · He began an album with other members from the band's 1970s era: guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Rick Wakeman, and drummer Bill Bruford, plus bassist Tony Levin (Bruford's bandmate in King Crimson). The group released their only studio album, Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe, in June 1989 which reached number 14 in the UK and number 30 in the US.
