No tanto porque el británico se probase lejos de Blur y el britpop, ya antes había coqueteado con óperas y bandas paralelas (Gorillaz o The Good, The Bad And The Queen).El disco era mágico porque ponía al frente la voz de Albarn pero con un cáliz sintético que resultaba futurista y nostálgico a partes iguales.
