Jonathan Vicent «Jon» Voight (Yonkers, Estado de Nueva York; 29 de diciembre de 1938) es un actor estadounidense. Consiguió dar el salto a la fama interpretando al vaquero Joe Buck en Midnight Cowboy (1969), junto a Dustin Hoffman, actuación que lo llevó a ser nominado por primera vez al Óscar al mejor actor.
Based on Pat Conroy's autobiographical novel The Water Is Wide, Voight portrayed the title character, an idealistic young schoolteacher sent to teach underprivileged black children on a remote South Carolina island.

Jonathan Voight es hijo de Barbara Voight y de Elmer Voight, un golfista profesional. Tiene dos hermanos, uno llamado West, quien, firmando como Chip Taylor, escribió, entre otras, la famosa canción “Wild Thing” para el grupo británico de los años 60 The Troggs; y otro, de nombre Barry, que se dedica a la vulcanología.
