Eddie Fisher, nació el 10 de agosto de 1928, y adquirió junto a su familia, el apellido Fisher, como se le llegaría a conocer en el mundo del espectáculo musical. El pequeño “Sonny Boy”, desde sus primeros años demostró aptitudes para la escena artística, destacándose como un exquisito vocalista.
Cantante anterior a la época del rock and roll, la fuerte y melodiosa voz de tenor de Fisher le convirtió en un ídolo de los adolescentes y uno de los cantantes más famosos de los primeros años cincuenta. Tuvo 17 canciones en el Top 10 de las listas entre 1950 y 1956, y otras 35 en el Top 40.
