Temple of the Dog (en español: El Templo del Perro) fue una banda de grunge y del rock alternativo estadounidense formada en Seattle, Washington, en 1990 y disuelta en 1992. Fue concebida por el vocalista de Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, como tributo a su amigo fallecido, Andrew Wood, vocalista de Malfunkshun y Mother Love Bone.
The band released its only album, the self-titled Temple of the Dog, in April 1991 through A&M Records. The recording sessions took place in November and December 1990 at London Bridge Studio in Seattle, Washington, with producer Rakesh "Rick" Parashar.
