  6. The Detours, a pioneering Southern California punk band from Fullerton, formed in 1977, by Gordon Cox, Rikk Agnew, and Jeff Beahn. In mid 1979, Casey Royer, only months after joining Social Distortion, quits to play drums in The Detours, rounding out the quintet and allowing Rikk Agnew to move to lead guitar duties.
