Bahamadia is an American hip hop artist and singer who released her debut album, Kollage, in 1996. She has also appeared on tracks by the Roots, Erykah Badu, Guru, and many others, and was a guest client on Project Runway in 2016.

Bahamadia is an innovative talent acknowledged in various musical genres as a forerunner of tomorrow’s music. While Bahamadia has been consistently active in the recording industry since her introduction in 1996, she has (amazingly) only two solo album releases to her credit.
Kollage is a 1996 album by American hip-hop artist Bahamadia, featuring production by DJ Premier, Da Beatminerz, GuRu, N.O. Joe, DJ Red Handed, Ski Beatz and the Roots. The album contains 15 tracks, including singles "Total Wreck", "Uknowhowwedu" and "I Confess", and samples from Marvin Gaye, the Isley Brothers and Catalyst.
With contemporaries like Queen Latifah and Salt-n-Pepa rising to some level of commercial success, Bahamadia's lyrics and lyricism continued propel her ascent within the heads and hearts of underground hip hop fans. She was original "female emcee" that defied gender lines to rise to a level of créme-de-la-créme.
