Faster Pussycat es una banda de Sleaze rock formada en Los Ángeles, Estados Unidos, en el año de 1986, tomando su nombre de una película llamada Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!, dirigida por Russ Meyer en 1965.
Faster Pussycat is an American glam metal band from Los Angeles, formed in 1985 by vocalist Taime Downe, guitarists Greg Steele and Brent Muscat and bassist Kelly Nickels. The group has since gone through numerous lineup changes leaving Downe as the only constant member.
Faster Pussycat continued touring in the coming years. The next couple years would be some of the most exhilarating, raunchy, provocative and productive. Taime began to put together the pieces that would later become the first Faster Pussycat album in almost a decade.
