Wilson is obviously not afraid to write about difficult subjects, like serial killers, which he wrote about as well in Raider II (which is about the BTK killer, Dennis Rader). IIRC, The Sound of Muzak is the one song on IA not about the serial killer theme.
Hace 18 horas · Steven's done this on a number of occasions; he'd release a studio album then follow it up with some kind of accompanying EP of songs that never made the cut. In this instance 4 1/2 is a bit of a mash-up of tracks that never made the album cut, plus earlier outakes from the Raven That Refused To Sing sessions, plus a random re-working of an old Porcupine Tree song.
