13 de jun. de 2017 · We’ve been honored to partner with Chimera Music on releasing Yoko Ono‘s musical output from 1968 to 1985, and we’re so pleased today that we’re able to announce our second batch of reissues. The first batch was reissued last year and included 1968’s Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins , 1969’s Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions , and 1970’s Plastic Ono Band .
Chimera Music and Secretly Canadian are set to release 11 reissues of Yoko Ono’s music output from 1968–85. It will mark the 50th anniversary of Indica Gallery’s opening, where John met Yoko in 1966. The first selection of reissues will include Unfinished Music No 1: Two Virgins and Unfinished Music No 2: Life With The Lions (both with John Lennon), and Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band.

As we will cover in more detail in the forthcoming SDE Reissue Preview of 2024, John Lennon’s 1973 album Mind Games is set to be reissued this year as a 4CD+2xblu-ray box set, featuring 72 audio tracks. In what is now a familiar pattern, a special standalone book is being issued to mark this occasion and is already available to pre-order.
22 de mar. de 2019 · The first batch of the Yoko Ono reissues from Secretly Canadian and Chimera Music came out in 2016 and included 1968’s Unfinished Music No. 1: Two Virgins, 1969’s Unfinished Music No. 2: Life with the Lions, and 1970’s Plastic Ono Band. 2017 saw the release of 1971’s Fly, 1973’s Approximately Infinite Universe, and 1973’s Feeling the Space.
1 de jul. de 2011 · I've heard from another forum that Sean Ono Lennon has confirmed that he remastered all of Yoko's albums from the 1960s to 1980s so there will be reissues for Season of Glass, It's Alright, Starpeace and A Story, but it's a matter of when.
