That's my go to, usually "I prefer to listen." 'I'd rather listen' is a really good response. A lot of the suggestions so far are quite hostile and arrogant. i mean, "why are you so quiet" is kind of hostile imo. I've evolved it into "I'm just more of a listener, but I know that unnerves some people.
