Hace 4 días · It reminds me of “Werewolves Of London” and Lawyers, Guns, and Money”. “Tule’s Blues" was written for Zevon’s girlfriend Marilyn “Tule” Livingston who is the mother of his son Jordan. One thing about Zevon he might not have the greatest voice but he uses it so well to create his unique sound.

The song was written as a joke within fifteen minutes while watching horror movies, and Zevon did not want it on the album.
