After a late encounter with Gyro Zeppeli, along with Valentine, D4C's appearance changes drastically as a result of Valentine's rapid aging at the hands of Gyro's Stand, losing a layer of its garb/armor/covering, including its horns. Even after Valentine recovers his health, D4C keeps its new form.

Funny Valentine is the main antagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run and a supporting character in the story mode for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. He is a veteran of the American Civil War and would later become the twenty-third President of the United States.
