Sinopsis. Cuando en la remota ciudad minera de Rejection (Nevada) unos obreros caen en las garras de un depredador invisible, Hiram Gummer, propietario de la mina y bisabuelo de Burt Gummer, contrata a un mercenario para destruir a las carnívoras criaturas antes de que destrocen su preciada fuente de ingresos.
