You may noticed that some Autobots who were present in Transformers 2: Rise of the Fallen is now missing in part 3, and vice verse. And some have already been upgraded or with a new look. During a mission to Chernobyl, to investigate suspected alien technology, Optimus Prime – the valiant leader of the Autobots – finds a fuel cell from the Ark, discovering that it had survived its journey from Cybertron. The Autobots are attacked by Shockwave, who manages to escape.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon es la tercer película de la serie de películas live-action. Fue estrenada en 3D y IMAX el 28 de junio del 2011, el 29 de junio en Estados Unidos y el 1 de julio en las demás regiones. La película está ambientada tres años después de los acontecimientos de Revenge of the Fallen.
