Dankzij het succes van die laatste film, die in 2012 ruim 1,5 miljard dollar in het laatje bracht, waren de verwachtingen hooggespannen voor de vervolgfilms van Iron Man, Captain America en Thor.. De eerste Thor is in mijn ogen één van de betere films uit de Marvel-stal.
