In this article, we dig into the oldest but still functioning underground transportation vehicle of Istanbul: the Funicular.
As we stayed in Sultanahmet district, we took the T1 tram to Kabatas and the F1 funicular to Taksim. The funicular is practically every 6 minutes so no long wait. A short ride at a low cost. Istanbul really did well with this underground transportation.
