The Superman Curse connects a number of mysterious and tragic circumstances surrounding the lives and deaths of Superman actors - but is it real? For years, rumors have swirled that the role of Superman is ill-fated, but could there's much more to the so-called Superman movie curse than meets the eye.
The Superman curse refers to a series of supposedly related misfortunes that have plagued creative people involved in adaptations of the DC Comics character Superman in various media, particularly actors who have played the role of Superman on film and television.
Henry Cavill is Superman in the DC Extended Universe and leads a blessed existence, the handsome devil. There are also hundreds and hundreds of people involved in the making of any film, probably thousands, who are completely fine. There isn’t a curse. Some old people are dead.

Supposedly, those who play Superman or work with Superman media have a terrible curse put upon them. They either suffer a mysterious death or a freak accident. The number of these occurrences is definitely enough to raise a few eyebrows.

9 de jul. de 2018 · In more recent years, the curse seems to have all but evaporated, though it's worth noting that 64-year-old Man of Steel producer Lloyd Phillips passed away of a heart attack in January 2013, five months before the movie even came out.

The Man of Steel first appeared in Action Comics #1 in 1938 and has since gone on to inspire several TV shows, cartoons, and movies, some better than others. He's the pretty boy. The upstanding savior of Metropolis and, you know, the whole world, from time to time.
