For the rhythm guitar, I'd start with a Rickenbacker or a Telecaster with the bridge pickup on, going into a clean Twin or maybe a JC-60, sounds like it's doubled. The rhythm guitar is a little wobbly, so there's some old school chorus effect there, could be the built in chorus of the JC60. Plenty of compression to get that jangly sound.
