If you aren't familiar, the Slits are one of the most influential bands of all time, paving the way for the Riot grrrl movement of the 90s (along with other bands such as the Raincoats, in which Palmolive, the drummer in the Slits, also played) and female musicians in general.

Hace 3 días · Some of the mysteries were solved when ex-drummer Palmolive donated some of her lyric sheets to a Slits website a few years back. But many remain untranscribed. One that remains particularly elusive is 'Vindictive' (aka 'Let's Do the Split'), recorded for their first Peel session in 1977.
