In contrast, the Dead Sea is a salt lake located on the border of Jordan and Israel, renowned for its high salt content and therapeutic properties.

The Salton Sea is located in Riverside County and is one of the most unique places to visit in California. The lake resides where Lake Cahuilla used to be approximately 300 years ago. However, as Lake Cahuilla dried up, the Salton Sink was created.
