Made in Holland. An on the road production for Kim Fowley. Recorded at the Tokyo Koseinenkin Kaikan and the Sibuya Kokaido 5 / 6 / 12 Jun 1977. Mixed at Onkio-Haus-Studio 18 / 19 Jun 1977. On the back cover: Printed in The Netherlands. (also playable on mono) Track A6 appears as "Rock-N-Roll" on the sleeve but as "Rock And Roll" on side A label.

It took until 2014 to get a reissue of this outside of Japan (France) of this 1977 album, and another three years to get an LP or CD reissued in Europe or the US. I really like the Canada and Japan LP issues that are strictly analog, as well as the Japanese CD issues which are from good master tapes.

20 de feb. de 2007 · Originally not released in the UK or US, Live in Japan was recorded in 1977 during the girls sold out arena tour! The Runaways had become genuine superstars in Japan and this album boasts superior sound quality (by '70s standards) and explosive, uninhibited versions of "You Drive Me Wild," "Cherry Bomb," "California Paradise," and other hard rock pearls.
