The best aspect of The Owl House is Luz’s arc after Yesterday’s Lie. There’s a lot of stuff I love about this show: the worldbuilding, emperor belos as a villain, Lumity, the queer rep, Eda and Raine, the plot, etc. butt I think what really took the Owl House from good to great for me was watching Luz’s character after yesterday’s lie.

It's a time honored literary device showing the protagonist the lesson of there but for the grace of god go I. Think Batman and the Joker or Sherlock Holmes and Professor Moriarty. These two characters differ in every detail where their physical appearance is concerned.
