The Hills Have Eyes 2 is a 2007 American horror film and the sequel to the 2006 film, which itself was a remake of the 1977 horror film. The film follows several U.S. Army National Guard comrades as they fight for survival against the mutant people living in a military base in the New Mexico desert.
The opening of THHE2 is traumatizing. A bruised, bloodied and beaten woman screaming as she’s giving birth to a deformed mutant who is pulled out of her. Another mutant then bashes her over the head with a rock. All of this is like in the first two minutes. This sequel is tense and really gory.
29 de ago. de 2015 · But all that said, why show us right off the bat such an explicit birthing scene? Personally, I think there’s a way to be effective , then there’s this: hitting us over the head with gory nastiness immediately.
