I would argue the good fight was more dramedy than pure drama like good wife. That being said, yes there was more nuance with elsbeth because those shows had nuance and were more thought provoking. This spinoff is just a very simple show, meant to appeal to the masses, and I think that's not what we were expecting so are naturally disappointed by that.
