The Damned announce a huge 12-date UK tour for December 2024, bringing their 80’s line-up back together with the return of Rat Scabies. David Vanian, Captain Sensible, Rat Scabies and Paul Gray will play shows across the UK, opening in Newcastle and finishing up at London’s Roundhouse, a significant venue in their long-standing career.

The Black Album is the fourth studio album by English punk rock band the Damned, and the first to feature Paul Gray on bass guitar.It was released on 3 November 1980 by Chiswick as a double album, with "Curtain Call" filling the whole of side 3, and a selection of live tracks recorded at Shepperton Studios at a special concert for Damned fan club members on side 4.

Deservedly so given their legacy, although in all honestly, it’s not even close to their best.

20 de jun. de 2012 · Damned Damned Damned was released on February 18, 1977 – Brian James’s 22nd birthday. It was duly lavished with praise by the band’s main cheerleaders, Sounds and Melody Maker . By the time it peaked at No.36 in April, The Damned had left for their inaugural swing around America, having just toured the UK first as headliners, and then as support to Marc Bolan’s T.Rex.
