Anthology 3 is a compilation album by the Beatles, released on 28 October 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. The album includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final two years of the band's career, ranging from the initial sessions for The Beatles (better known as "the White Album") to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in 1969 and early 1970.
The Beatles Anthology (complete) Combines Anthology 1, 2, & 3 together with a slight reordering: "Real Love" has been moved directly after "Free as a Bird" to keep both "new" songs together. "A Beginning" has been moved to before "Don't Pass Me By" since that seemed more logical to me when combining all three sets together.

The first disc contains three previously-unreleased Beatles compositions. ’12-Bar Original’ was a blues jam recorded during the Rubber Soul sessions, and credited to Lennon-McCartney-Harrison-Starkey.

14 de mar. de 2008 · Anthology 3 contains seven demo recordings made at Kinfauns, George Harrison’s home, in late May 1968. The songs, which mostly appeared on the White Album and Abbey Road, were ‘Happiness Is A Warm Gun’, ‘Mean Mr Mustard’, ‘Polythene Pam’, ‘Glass Onion’, ‘Junk’, ‘Piggies’, and ‘Honey Pie’.. The other recordings were all studio rehearsals and outtakes.
