I remember Dickey said in 1986 that due to record company problems and declining support of the band and changing tastes in music, they decided to back the band out in 1982 and they were doing this as a favor to Charlie Daniels for his Volunteer Jam and that he and Gregg aren't interested in doing an Allman Brothers tour.
