Hace 2 días · This is the "Moana - Heart of TeFiti" by McKrats but with a square cutout in the middle so that a little block can be printed to align the parts together. The shape was fairly flat and round making it very difficult to clamp and align when gluing together so I made this so that the parts can be pressed together and the fit is tight enough for the layer lines to interlock and hold it together ...
13 de may. de 2024 · I found the original mold and thought it was a great idea. I didn't like the blank back, so I mirrored the design side and joined the two with a hinge. I printed this without supports and at 0.1 layer hieght. It worked perfectly right of the plate. I'll probably make one in resin too for a smoother appearance.
