The first T in the Park was held on Saturday 30 July – Sunday 31 July 1994 at Strathclyde Country park. The site had a capacity for 17,000 people on each of the two days, with just 2000 choosing to camp. The Caledonia Stage, was introduced to showcase up and coming new bands.
