Roger Keith „Syd“ Barrett ( 6. ledna 1946 Cambridge – 7. července 2006 Cambridge) byl britský zpěvák, skladatel, kytarista a malíř. Známý je především jako jeden ze zakládajících členů rockové kapely Pink Floyd, ve které působil ve druhé polovině 60. let 20. století jako její hlavní skladatel a frontman.

Syd Barrett se retiraría de la vida pública en 1972 para más nunca retornar.Pink Floyd le recordaría con frecuencia dedicándole obras completa como el disco Wish You Were Here (1975), con temas elocuentes como “Shine on You Crazy Diamond” o el tema título y en cierta manera The Wall (1979).. Dos cosas recomiendo, además de la oportunidad de escucharlo aquí.
