Superboy (Kon-El) was created by Karl Kesel and Tom Grummett, first appearing in Adventures of Superman #500. However, in the Prime Earth continuity, Superboy (Kon-El) first appeared as part of the New 52 DC Universe in Superboy (Volume 6) #1 by Scott Lobdell and R.B. Silva.
Kon-EL is the half-human half-Kryptonian clone creation of the mysterious organization N.O.W.H.E.R.E., which seeks to control the new generation of metahumans. His main power is telekinesis, which he uses to simulate full Kryptonian abilities, and he is sent out on missions by the organization.
