At the end of JoJo Part 6: Stone Ocean, did Emporio get sent to a parallel universe? Is this the same universe that SBR and JJL then take place in? The Wikia says that the universe is reset. What really happened? I'm so confused.

However, based upon the fact that Jolyne is named Irene in this universe, ending the 'Jojo' naming scheme, I'd guess she does not have a stand. The naming scheme because a tradition when the Joestars got the 'Joestar Curse'. For tradition to stop would imply that the curse is lifted, ending the series.

That is March 21st, 2012, one day before the new moon on March 22nd, 2012. It is written on the intro to Stone Ocean chapter 157 "Made in Heaven Part 9". Share.

3 de ago. de 2019 · No. Jolyne died with the other Stone Ocean protagonists (besides Emporio) at the end of the part. They received alternate universe counterparts which Emporio met after Pucci reset the universe - and the universe that they exist in has been dubbed the 'Ireneverse' by fans.

It is also important to notice that based on Oda's answer, the sea hates the Devil Fruit user, not simply their power. Therefore the effect of the fruit is on the user, not on their power.

Being in seawater or exposed to seastone doesn't change the physical make-up of paramecia type devil fruit users it merely incapacitates them as demonstrated when Luffy was immersed in seawater during the Arlong arc, while he was unable to move his neck was still able to stretch allowing Nami to hold his head above water.
