The UK's leading drummer and percussionist. Steve White also known as Whitey is the older brother of Alan White (Oasis). Steve is power house percussionist and drummer behind the hugely successful Paul Weller. Steve has been with Paul Weller for over 20 years since the early days of the Style Council.
Steven Douglas White (born 31 May 1965) is an English drummer who has worked extensively with Paul Weller and The Style Council among others. Musical career [ edit ] White was given a small drum as a child by his uncle and upon joining his local Boys' Brigade he began to learn his craft.
As well as working with The Style Council, Steve was drumming and playing percussion with various groups on the Respond label and pursuing a relentless path of practice and dedication devouring the knowledge that Bob presented him like a religion.
