13 de sept. de 2005 · Según el diccionario wordreference, keynote speaker is. keynote speaker n ( [sb]: gives opening speech) primer orador nm. Entonces me queda la duda: keynote speaker es el primer orador (abre el evento con el primer discurso) o el orador principal (da el discurso más importante/esperado del evento, que puede ser en cualquier momento).

21 de jun. de 2016 · For many years the correct term was "on speakerphone". Apparently, people now say "on speaker" to mean the same thing. But "on speakerphone" is still correct: check the WR dictionary. It lists this meaning for "speakerphone" but not for "speaker". Many smartphones offer "speakerphone" as an optional mode. OP's app turns this mode on automatically.
5 de dic. de 2006 · I think there is a narrow meaning and a wide meaning. The narrow meaning is words like "umm" "err" "ah" and "uh", that don't express meaning or change meaning. They only prevent someone else from speaking, allowing the speaker to "still have the floor" while finding new words. The term "filler" works for that, I think.
