Saint Petersburg State University (SPBU; Russian: Санкт-Петербургский государственный университет) is a public research university in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Russia.
SPbU is a world-class university with a history dating back to 1724. It offers multidisciplinary programmes, international cooperation, global careers, and cutting-edge research facilities.
How to apply. Register for a Personal Account. Fill in, print out and sign your application for admission to one or more academic programmes (three programmes max.) Submit your signed application and all required documents to your Personal Account. Wait until the results are announced:
Bachelor and Specialist programmes with 4 and 5-year periods of study respectively. Master programmes – 2 years. Doctoral programmes – 3 years. Every year SPbU offers 500 degree programmes and over 700 non-degree programmes available in seven main areas: Physics, Mathematics and Computer Sciences.
